My name is Elaine Zhai, and I’m a senior in high school. My love for writing developed at a very young age. I began journaling back in elementary school, and since then, I’ve experimented with numerous forms of writing, with my favorite being poetry. In my free time, I love to play softball and spend time outdoors!

Claire Quan is a young writer born in Singapore and attending boarding school in Deerfield, MA. During the grueling winters, she loves to curl up with novels by Richard Flanagan, Walt Whitman, and Virginia Woolf. Her work has been
published in Shanghai Daily, the Interlochen Review, and the Little Brown House Review. She has also - brace yourselves - published a crossword hint in the New York Times! She is absolutely thrilled to be able to read and review the
work of fellow writers.
